Casual is our middle name – and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t like to sit on the couch and get caught up on life admin (or write to our hearts’ content!).
However, every working girlie needs a good desk setup, and preferably one with a comfy chair and cute dog pics for extra inspiration!
Here are our top 10 must-haves for a productive yet pretty desk:
- Ergonomic rainbow keyboard – ahh the beautiful sound of tapping on a bright keyboard! We love making work a bit more fun!
- Cushiony chair – okay, this is a no-brainer! We need lots of cushion for back support, especially in long Teams meetings!
- Five Star spiral notebook – who remembers these from school? Top of the line! You never know when you’ll need to take notes (yes, that includes us while podcasting!)
- Rainbow pens – the more colors, the merrier. Bright gel pens are the way to go, in our opinion.
- Chocolate- you may think we’re kidding, but a little pick-me-up never hurt anyone!
- Planner – technically this should be a higher priority than chocolate, but to each their own. We love the big ones you can scribble on for an easy to-do list.
- Microsoft Surface Pro – listen, making the switch to a Surface Pro after having a regular laptop for many years took a little adjusting, but now we could never go back.
- Souvenir mug – during the workday, a cup of soup in our favorite mug gives us a little pick me up!
- Heating pad – this extra comfort in the cooler months goes a long way towards motivating us!
- Puppy pics – you know this list wouldn’t be complete without a cute frame of our favorite cuddle bugs. Dogs, cats, bunnies, horses…they all deserve a spot on your desk if you ask us!
